Who are we?

We are a team consisting of apprentices working on the commercial, technical and industrial sector for the logistic and service centers for stainless steel products in Dortmund.

What do we offer?

Within the scope of our apprenticeship we distribute promotional items as wells as gift ware and decoration items via our online shop. We handle the entire process chain - from purchasing to production to sales.

Our qualifications?

We especially produce high-quality products made of stainless steel for commercial and private use. But we have even more to offer: If you want to, our team will completely take responsibility for the dispatch of customer�s gifts at Christmas time and on other occasions. We are young, innovative and dynamic! Costumer focus and first-class service have top-priority. The Young Service Factory is characterised by its creativity and commitment. We are also willing to customize � in other words: to satisfy client�s ideas and requests.

Our concept?

That�s very simple! Under the direction of training officers our team of commercial, technical and industrial trainees runs a junior company. Here we learn how to be self dependent and to organise ourselves independently. We also learn how to allocate different tasks and to assume responsibility. A real flow of money and merchandise does not only emphasize the seriousness of our activities, but makes the operations within the Young Service Factory first of all really interesting.

Regular changes in the field of responsibilties and of team members provide a vivid atmosphere in the Young Service Factory and give us the potentiality for active collaboration in all parts of the enterprise. Thus we recognize coherences between purchasing, production and sales. We also receive insights concerning the processes of an enterprise and can train our holistic understanding of a corporation.

It remains in control of subsequent trainees to perpetuate the Young Service Factory successfully and thus to establish and develop a platform which will enrich the vocational training of future generations to a great extent.
